Biological Age Calculator (PhenoAge, Blood Test Based)
How it is calculated
PhenoAge combines nine blood markers and age in the Levine (2018) mortality model, then converts the 10-year mortality score into years.
What your result means
PhenoAge combines albumin, creatinine, glucose, CRP, lymphocyte percent, MCV, RDW, alkaline phosphatase and white blood cell count with your age.
A single result moves with short-term changes such as a recent infection, which can raise CRP and white cells, so trends over time say more than one value.
Your own lab's printed range and your clinician's read of your history come first; this calculator is educational and is not a diagnosis.
Albumin, creatinine, glucose, CRP, lymphocyte percent, MCV, RDW, alkaline phosphatase and white blood cell count, plus your age.
Is PhenoAge the same as an epigenetic clock?
No. This PhenoAge is calculated from standard blood tests; the same research group also published a DNA methylation version.
Can I lower my biological age result?
The inputs respond to factors like inflammation and glucose control, which is why the score is tracked over time with a clinician rather than read once.
