Common questions

What does Baseline + Hormones cover?

Metabolic and kidney function, liver enzymes including GGT and bilirubin fractions, a full lipid panel with ApoB and hs-CRP, thyroid (TSH, T4, T3 uptake), iron with saturation and ferritin, vitamin D, a complete blood count, and hormones: testosterone by LC/MS with free and bioavailable fractions, SHBG, estradiol, DHEA-S and cortisol.

How is this different from FitScript Essential?

Baseline + Hormones adds a full hormone picture plus GGT, uric acid, bilirubin fractions, iron saturation and hs-CRP. FitScript Essential includes fasting insulin, Lp(a) and homocysteine, which this panel does not.

Is it suitable for women?

Yes. Testosterone is measured by LC/MS, which stays accurate at the lower levels typical in women, and the panel includes estradiol, DHEA-S and cortisol.

Do I need to fast?

Yes. Fast for 10–12 hours. Testosterone and cortisol are highest in the morning, so draw before 10am for the most reliable reading.
